Day One – ARRIVE CAPE TOWN
On arrival in Cape Town, you are met by our “VIP” representative, who will assist you with customs formalities, help you collect your luggage, and go through to the arrivals hall. As you enter the arrivals hall, look for a representative holding a sign with your name on it. You will be handed your tour documents and transferred to your reserved hotel. RELAX ON YOUR OWN THIS EVENING.

Day Two – ON YOUR OWN

DAY 3 – SABI SAND RESERVE
Today, transfer by private vehicle to the airport, where you will be met and assisted with check-in for the flight bound for Skukuza.

Upon arrival, you will be met and driven to your reserved safari accommodations with fellow guests. After a quick freshen-up, meet for high tea and set off on your first thrilling afternoon game drive, which takes you into the night to view the more elusive nocturnal species. Return to camp for a sumptuous dinner and a relaxing evening around the fireplace, sharing your day’s experience with the other guests.

The Sabi Sand Game Reserve, adjacent to South Africa’s flagship, Kruger National Park, offers an extraordinary safari experience. Game viewing possibilities are unparalleled, including the much sought-after ‘Big 5’. There are no fences between Kruger National Park and Sabi Sand Game Reserve, so wildlife roams freely in a vast natural environment.

After a quick freshen-up, meet for high tea and set off on your first game drive with fellow lodge guests. Return to the camp for dinner and a relaxing evening around the fireplace, sharing your day’s experience with the other guests

DAY 4 – SABI SAND RESERVE
Your luxury accommodations are in the internationally famous Sabi Sand Reserve within the greater Kruger National Park Conservancy. The accommodation lies in an area where ‘Big 5’ sightings are so frequent that seeing a lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino in a single game drive is not unusual.

Each luxury suite offers spacious and luxurious accommodation. The bedrooms have Bedouin-style draped ceilings and tented roofs, while solid walls provide quiet and security, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. Amenities include an en-suite bathroom with a free-standing bath, indoor and outdoor showers, air conditioning and fan, an electronic safe, telephone, and a fully stocked mini-bar and tea & coffee station. The bedrooms open onto private decks with sweeping bush views and waterholes. The Suites also offer a private deck with a plunge pool.

The public lounge and loft overlook the gardens and the floodlit waterhole. The library provides wireless broadband internet access.

Exceptional food is an essential component of the luxury safari experience. Breakfasts provide full English fare: simply bacon and eggs, fresh fruits, yogurts, pastries, homemade mueslis, and the accommodation’s famous ‘smoothies.’ An innovative lunch buffet offers many salads, hot meat and vegetable dishes, and cheeses. Candlelit dinners are served on the main lodge’s deck, with traditional local dishes adding spice to the best international fare.

Game drives are conducted by professional and highly well-qualified game rangers in state-of-the-art land rovers that have been expertly modified to ensure your safety and comfort. Optional walking safaris are conducted daily to experience the beauty and fascination of Africa’s wildlife on foot. Day 5 – SABI SAND GAME RESERVE
Accompanied by highly skilled game rangers, shared game drives were set out early in the morning and evening. Two game drives per day and an optional bush walk allowed guests to see the Big Five and a large variety of smaller wildlife. The rangers provided interesting information and anecdotes about the inhabitants of the bush. Between exciting safaris, spend the time at camp relishing the tranquility of the bush.

Relax at the pool or enjoy a siesta before lunch is served. The late afternoon game drive follows lunch and extends into the evening to view seldom-seen nocturnal species by torchlight. This is when the nocturnal animals come to life, and the lions go out on their hunt! Once again, you will break out in the bush, in a scenic spot, to watch a magnificent African sunset while sipping at a sundowner.

Day 6 – SABI SAND GAME RESERVE / SKUKUZA / JOHANNESBURG
An early morning wake-up call and out into the bush on the morning safari in search of animals not seen the day before. Return to camp for a hearty breakfast, and then relax until it is time to transfer to the airport for your flight to Johannesburg. On arrival, you will be met and assisted to the shuttle terminal for the courtesy shuttle to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Johannesburg is one of the world’s most cosmopolitan cities, an exciting melting pot. There is something for everyone, from world-class shopping centers to exclusive boutiques, outstanding eateries, and vibrant pavement cafes. For visitors wanting to learn more about South Africa, there are an array of museums and sites showcasing the events that have shaped the country’s unique democracy. The Apartheid Museum illustrates the fascinating record of South Africa’s past, while the impressive Constitutional Court is the protector of human rights and freedom.

The splendor of the Renaissance architecture at the heart of the rapidly growing Sandton Central Business District will leave a lasting impression from the moment you arrive. Easy access is from your luxury hotel to Africa’s finest shops, restaurants, cinemas, and theatres. (B)

DAY 7- JOHANNESBURG
Meet your guide in the hotel lobby this morning for your half-day Soweto tour. Despite living in crowded and chaotic conditions, Soweto is home to over 2 million people with a tangible sense of community. Visit the Hector Pieterson Museum and discover the cause of the tragic riots that led to his death. A stop is made at the late Nelson Mandela’s former home, which has been transformed into a museum (on own account). Your tour continues to Regina Mundi Church, site of many secret underground meetings of then banned political parties.

After lunch at a local restaurant (on your own account), your scheduled activities resume with a visit to the Apartheid Museum. The museum takes visitors on a fascinating, horrifying, humbling, and ultimately inspiring journey from the dark days of ‘whites only’ privilege through to Nelson Mandela’s historic release from prison. Get a small idea of what it was like to have your entire life determined by your skin color. Documentary pieces of film, texts, sound clips, and live accounts recapture life in old South Africa. It’s a journey you’re unlikely to forget in a hurry.

DAY 8 – JOHANNESBURG, SOUTH AFRICA / VICTORIA FALLS, ZIMBABWE
Transfer to the airport for your scheduled flight to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. After clearing Zimbabwe immigration formalities, exit into the arrivals hall, where you will be met by a representative and transferred by private vehicle to your reserved hotel. Arrive at your 5-STAR ACCOMMODATIONS.

The accommodations are only 2.5 miles from the majestic Victoria Falls. Each of the luxurious air-conditioned rooms has uninterrupted views of the African bush. All beds are three quarter beds but can be converted to king. Additional amenities include a mini bar, digital safe, international multi sockets, a beverage station including an espresso machine, and complimentary Wi-Fi. The accommodation has its private club lounge with a deck overlooking the game corridor of the Zambezi River. The lounge offers complimentary services such as private check-in and butler service, breakfast, afternoon tea and pastries, cocktails and snacks, Wi-Fi, shuttle service to the Falls, and other points of interest in Victoria Falls. DAY 9- VICTORIA FALLS, ZIMBABWE
This morning you will be collected for your shared tour of The Falls. It’s no surprise why Victoria Falls is one of the seven Natural Wonders of the World! You’ll understand it instantly as you tour the Zimbabwean side. This astounding gift of nature simply takes your breath away. Listen to the thunderous noise, as millions of gallons of water surge over the falls into a series of narrow gorges below.

Continue with an interactive visit to a local community, where you learn about the roles men and women play in this society. Visit a homestead, interact with the locals, and observe their daily lives and culture.

There is a small curio shop filled with handcrafted items for sale created by extended family members of this homestead. Ensure you have room in your bag; you won’t want to leave empty-handed.Return to your hotel, and the rest of the day will be spent at your leisure.

DAY 10 – VICTORIA FALLS, ZIMBABWE / JOHANNESBURG / DEPART
Transfer to the airport for your scheduled flight to Johannesburg where you connect with your international departure flight.
